A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Niyomi began her career at KPMG before moving into management consulting at BCG—a path many professionals aspire to. While working closely with businesses across diverse industries, she discovered that her true passion extended beyond strategy. She wanted to build, execute, and experience the journey of turning ideas into reality. That vision led to the founding of ELYTA.
Today, Niyomi is deeply involved in every aspect of the business—from refining the smallest website details to ensuring every customer order is delivered seamlessly. Outside of work, she is an avid tennis enthusiast, both as a player and a fan, and enjoys connecting with fellow founders and professionals over coffee to exchange ideas and discuss businesses.
Kunal Lagu
A Chartered Accountant with an MBA from ISB Hyderabad, Kunal was well on his way to continuing his family's legacy business, Lagu Bandhu. When Niyomi invited him to co-found ELYTA, however, the opportunity to build something from the ground up was impossible to ignore. The excitement of creating, solving problems, and shaping a new venture inspired him to take on a second entrepreneurial journey.
Today, Kunal continues to play an active role in Lagu Bandhu while supporting ELYTA alongside it, constantly looking for synergies between the two businesses and applying lessons from one to strengthen the other. With a strong foundation in finance and business, he brings a practical, long-term perspective to ELYTA's growth. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, enjoys reading, and is always up for a conversation about sports, fitness, and endurance.
